About Us

Our names are Olivia and Tyler Greenwood. We are experienced swim instructors who teach private and semiprivate swimming lessons in our backyard pool. We also teach stroke and skill development for anyone who wants a little extra help with certain skills.

Olivia

Experience Teaching Swimming:

  • 2017-2019: Coached the "Splash" program with the Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club

  • 2018-2019: Assisted coaching the "Splashing Up" program with the Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club

  • 2019-Present: Taught the Lifesaving Society's Swim For Life program for children as young as 2 years old, as well as adults (it's never too late to learn to swim!!)​

Fun Facts About Me:

  • I am in my third year of an Honours Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology at Queen's University

  • I have begun a Certificate in Disability and Physical Activity (DIPA) through a collaboration between the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies and Revved Up, an adapted exercise program. 

  • I also spent a few years teaching skiing!

  • I was a competitive swimmer with the Newmarket Stingrays, and swam for my high school team for fun

  • I enjoy all things outdoors, particularly camping in the summer (minus the bugs) and skiing in the winter

  • I've been a competitive swimmer with the Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club and Laurier swim team for 12 years

  • I like basketball (Go Raptors!)

  • I am in my first year of a Bachelor of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University

  • I love pasta
